ABOUT US

Built by people who care.

Mile High Cableworks is a small, founder-run cable assembly shop in Denver, Colorado.

This is who we are and why we work the way we do.

The idea.

Why we started a craft shop in 2024.

The two of us — Mitzie and Paul — have spent more than thirty years between us in electronics manufacturing in the United States. PCB assembly. Box build. Cable assembly. We have seen what happens when a wire harness is treated as a commodity: it gets built fast, built cheap, and built far away from the engineer who designed it. And then it fails in the field, on someone else’s program, and nobody can quite explain why.

We started Mile High Cableworks because we believe there is a different way to do this. A way where the operator who terminates the connector also signs for it. A way where the program manager can call the shop and the founder picks up. A way where the workmanship standard is non-negotiable because the people running the bench actually wrote the work instruction.

It is not a faster way. It is not the cheapest way. But for the programs where the cable cannot fail — and you know who you are — it is the only way that makes sense.
